Master data for processing activities

Via the navigation bar of the Data Protection app, you can call up the master data that you can use when you record processing activities. The master data is displayed in the quick navigation.

Add master data

You can use the quick navigation to create new objects and add master data.

Example: Add your own template to the default PA templates.

Instructions:

  1. Click on the Master data entry in the navigation bar of the Data Protection app

  2. Navigate to the respective entry in the quick navigation under which you want to create a new object

  3. Click on the entry at and hover over the menu item New

  4. Select the category of the new object:

  5. Give the object a new name

  6. Enter the properties of the new object via the sidebar:

    Example: If you have created a PA template, enter the technical and organizational measures, for example.

Result:

You can use the new object when you record processing activities.

Example: If you create a new processing activity and select the corresponding template, all properties from the template are transferred to the processing activity.
