Report job
In SystemAdministration, you can create and configure report jobs in the Services section under Jobs & e-mail services. Report jobs are used to generate print reports regularly and automatically. The relevant users can access the automatically generated print reports via automatically triggered emails and the Aeneis upload folder. These users therefore do not have to generate the print report manually.

Instructions:
-
Create a new report job in SystemAdministration in the Services area under Jobs & e-mail services:
-
Enter a name and confirm with the Enter key
-
Configure the report jobs via the properties in the Configuration area:
Property
Description
Trigger
Here you can define a trigger that automatically triggers the report job on a regular basis.
Group
This property is for internal use to bundle triggers and jobs and should not be changed!
Cron expression
Here you can enter a time pattern that controls when synchronization is performed automatically.

Successor job
Here you can link jobs together. Once the execution of the job has been completed, the successor job referenced here is executed immediately.
Note: If the successor job is deactivated, it is skipped and the next active successor job in the chain is executed.
Note: Successor jobs do not require their own trigger or cron expression.
Email templates In the Email templates section, you can select or create a template for the report job.

Print report
Here you reference the print report that is to be generated automatically.

Upload print report Here you determine whether the generated print report is moved to the Aeneis upload folder in a separate subfolder with the name of the report job. You will find the subfolder there in the folder with the name of the corresponding database service. Overwrite print report Here you determine whether the print report is overwritten when a new one is generated.
Enabled: Only the current print report is in the corresponding upload folder
Disabled: The corresponding upload folder contains all print reports that were executed as part of the job. You can see the chronological order of the print reports from the file names.
Results:
-
The print report, which is stored in the report job, is generated automatically and regularly.
-
The generated file is stored in a separate subfolder in the upload directory.
-
The users who are defined as recipients in the email template receive an e-mail with the print report attached.
