Sort by path (query)

The Sort by path query sorts the incoming result objects according to their path in the model. Here, this path can be reduced by conditions, so that not the position in the overall model but in a sub-model is considered.

The result objects are the result of the query configured in the Queries attribute.

Configuration:

Property	Description
Queries	The Queries property displays the query components that have been configured for the query. The result of the queries is used as input for the execution of this query. If no queries are created, the result is obtained directly from the current context. You also have the option here to configure new queries via the text box or the buttons to the right of the text box.
Conditions	The path of an object is determined in ascending order based on the main assignment of the objects. Configure here conditions that are checked for objects that are in the path. If these conditions exclude an object, the determination of the path stops at the previous object. A partial path is used for sorting.
Logic operation	Select the logical link of the individual results of the conditions here.
Variables	You can activate the enabled attributes of a query and condition in the Variables property so that they can be changed by users at the time of execution. See also: Chapter Variables.
