Select CIP project as storage location

When creating an proposal, it is possible to select in which CIP project it should be created.

Hide memory location selection

If you do not want the editors or creators of the proposal to have any influence on the storage location, you can deactivate this setting.

Instruction:

  1. In the SystemAdministration in the Schema, open the properties of the category Proposal

  2. In the Configuration area, deactivate the Show CIP project component property:

Results:

  • The drop-down menu for selecting the location in the transition form is not displayed.

  • The improvement suggestion is not assigned to any object.

Note: In addition to the CIP project component, other alternatives can be used to assign the improvement suggestion to an object. See Main assignment and referencing via inverse attribute and Main assignment and referencing by macro action.
