Import AEN file
You can import an AEN export file (*.aen file) into your database via the SystemAdministration.
Instruction:

In the SystemAdministration toolbar, click Import...:

In the Import... dialog, select the import file and set the appropriate import settings:

Description
Apply user rights from import file

Activated: The user rights (owner and ACL) from the import file are applied to the imported objects.

Disabled: The imported objects are assigned to the current user.
Import overwrites child and reference lists of existing objects

Activated: Existing list attributes are overwritten (and deleted if necessary).

Disabled: List attributes are only added.
Smart overwrite behaviour
With this option, existing objects are overwritten only if they or their main assignments are included in the import.

Click the arrow button to move to the next dialog page

All main objects of the import file are listed. Select the ones you want to import. The option Apply changes while importing to save memory (no undo) causes the imported objects to be applied immediately and changes from the import cannot be undone

Click Done to import the selected content
