BPMN diagrams

A BPMN diagram maps a business process, which in turn can consist of a sequence of processes and tasks.

A process describes the time-logical sequence of an event. Processes can be represented graphically in BPMN diagrams. BPMN diagrams consist of the following components:

  • Shapes

    • Activities

      • Processes

      • Subprocesses

      • Tasks

    • Events

    • Gateways

  • Connectors

  • Swimlanes

Aeneis supports BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation) in BPMN diagrams.
