Messages in BPMN diagrams

If BPMN rules have been violated, a construction symbol appears in the WebModeller at the corresponding position in the BPMN diagram, which is highlighted in color depending on the type of message:

Fix message

If you click on an icon, you will see the description of the BPMN rule that was violated. To fix messages, Aeneis supports you in correcting them, depending on the rule:

  • Depending on the rule, the description of the message is clickable. If you click on such descriptions, a pop-up will appear with which you can correct the error:

  • Depending on the rule, a suggested correction is made when you hover over the description. The suggestion is automatically executed with a click:

Note: Depending on the rule, no further action can be triggered via the description of the message. In this case, carry out a manual correction.
