Model input/output flows
Outputs from activities can enter other activities as inputs. Such relationships can be represented in the BPMN diagram with connecting arrows between outputs and inputs.
Requirement:
The following property is enabled in the properties of the diagram:

Show document node at relation

Show input and output connections
Instruction:

Open the BPMN diagram in the WebModeller

Drag and drop the output to the activity where it should enter as input
or
show the inputs and outputs in the details and define the output as input at the output shape via the chain icon:
Result:
The output is displayed as input for this activity and takes over the name of the output. The relationship between the inputs and outputs is automatically indicated by a connecting arrow.
Show input/output on connector
You can also display input-output relationships as a shape at the connection arrow between two activity shapes. The requirement is that the two activities are directly linked.
To display the relationship between input and output as a shape at the connector, enable the Show Document node at Relation property in the Layout area of the chart's properties.
