Use drawing guides

To align multiple drawing objects evenly on the drawing area, guides are available in freehand diagrams.

Blue guides are displayed under the following conditions:

• In the properties of the diagram, the Align to objects and/or Align to distances properties are enabled

• Several drawing objects are created in the diagram

• The drawing object is moved or resized by drag & drop

• The active drawing object is on an identical horizontal or vertical line with another drawing object

Drawing guides are displayed in the following places of a shape:

• at the edges (top, bottom, right, left)

• in the center (horizontal or vertical)
