Master data

In the Master Data area, the master data of your company is recorded:

  • Documents: The Documents folder is used to store and manage the various documents that are important for achieving the company's goals. For example, the individual documents can be stored in the processes as input and output. In each of the document objects, a document file can be uploaded and deposited or referenced. More about documents under Documents in Aeneis.

  • Roles: Roles are created to model the enterprise roles. Roles are assigned to different employees.

  • Legal entities: The Legal entities folder manages the legal entities and organizational units into which the company is divided.

    Note: Differences Legal entity and Organizational unit:

    Legal Entities represent the different branches of a company. Organizational Units represent the different business units, such as departments, in the individual branches.

  • Locations: Locations are created to represent the enterprise locations or any other locations relevant to the enterprise in the enterprise model.

  • Committees: Committees are created to represent the company committees in the model with all roles, leaders and performers.

  • IT systems: In the IT systems folder, the IT systems and IT interfaces used in the company are recorded and linked to the systems. IT systems can be linked to processes and opened directly via the Portal.

  • External partners: External partners are all external institutions with which the company has a relationship, e.g. customers, suppliers, business partners.

  • Objectives: The strategic company goals are managed in the Objectives folder.

  • Key figures: The key figures of the company are managed in the Key figures folder.

  • Glossary: The glossary folder is used to maintain the company glossary via glossary entries.

  • Cost drivers: The individual cost drivers in the company are recorded in the Cost drivers folder.

  • Manuals, standards and regulations: Documents relevant to internal corporate security, quality management and quality assurance, such as ISO 9001, are created in the Manuals, standards and regulations folder. The documents in this section are created directly in Aeneis with their chapters.

  • Employees: Employees are used in the context of relationships, e.g. as employees of organizational units, as holders of roles or as specific contacts of external partners. In the employee's properties, the employee data is entered, maintained and his/her responsibilities and affiliations are displayed.
