Notify employees from linked objects about releases

When a document is released, the following users are notified by default:

• Acknowledgers receive a notification by e-mail and via the Portal header about their pending acknowledgement.

• The creator receives an e-mail that the document has been released.

• If the document is a favorite, you will receive a notification via the Portal header.

• If the document is linked to a task, a sub-process, a process or a process group, the users who are referenced there in the responsibility attributes are notified via the Portal header.

  Requirements: To receive the notification in the Portal header, the object to which the document is linked must be released.

  Note: You can also use the Transition form Grant version release to set up additional e-mail notifications for the employees concerned.

Inform affected employees by e-mail

If the document is linked to a task, a sub-process, a process or a process group, the users who are referenced there in the responsibility attributes can also be notified by e-mail about the version release of the document. To activate the automatic notification by e-mail, the Inform affected employees field is available in the transition form Grant version release form.
