Execution permissions in the standard release workflow

In the Schema of the SystemAdministration, it is configured in the Versions and Releases package for the Version (WF) category in the delivery state which users are authorized to perform certain actions in the standard release workflow.

Assign release/test to me
  • Users assigned to the respective release task if also assigned to user groups or roles for this task.

  • The releasers who have been assigned

  • Users with administrator rights

Perform archiving

  • Users of the Administrators group

  • Assigned employees, roles or user groups in the Authorized to archive property of the archive folder in the model overview

Note: If a examiner or releaser belongs to a user group or role assigned for the version test, the task appears as a group task. If he/she was personally assigned as an employee, the task is a Personal task. For more information, see My Tasks.

Note: In the release workflow, you can assign employees, user groups and roles as testers, releasers or acknowledgers by default.

Note: You can only assign an employee to a task in the approval workflow if he/she is created as an Aeneis user. See also Link employee to Aeneis user.

Note: Users who are assigned as testers or releasers of a version are always allowed to see the working draft of the process.
