Evaluation logic for multiple selection
The evaluation logic for multiple active session scopes takes effect under the following conditions:
-
The classification of scopes is not enabled.
-
The hierarchy of scopes is not enabled.
-
Several session scopes are active.
Conditions
If the requirements are met, a scope limited object is visible for a session if any of the following conditions are met:
Condition 1:
No scope is referenced in the Valid for and Invalid for attributes. The object is thus not assigned to any scope and is always visible.
Example: The Request leave process is not subject to any restriction in terms of scopes. There is no scope object referenced in Valid for and none referenced in Invalid for. The process applies to all situations.
Condition 2:
One of the active session scopes is referenced in the Valid for attribute.
Example: The Develop Software process is valid for the Software department. A member of the Software department sees the process. A member of the Consulting department does not see the process.
Condition 3:
No scopes are referenced in the Valid for attribute and none of the active session scopes are referenced in the Invalid for attribute.
Example: A process should be valid for all employees except the board of directors. Then is referenced in Invalid for the Board of directors.
