Use a raw data import as template

You can use a raw data export of a database (aeneis5db/aeneis6db/aeneis7db file) as a template for a new database.

Instruction:

1. In the Server Administration, in the Databases section, open the Raw Data Exports tab

2. Click on the Upload *.aeneis5db, *.aeneis6db or *.aeneis7db file button and upload a raw data export to be used as a template for a database:

   

   The raw data export is uploaded and then appears in the list of raw data exports:

   

3. Create a new database in the Databases tab and select the uploaded raw data export as template (see also chapter Create and import an Aeneis database):

   Note: When creating a new database, the database administrator password can be set. The password set here for the administrator overwrites that of the imported database.

   Attention: Only one database may be created and active per Aeneis installation.

   

Result:

A new database is created with the contents of the raw data export.
