Initiative

An initiative is a phase that is launched specifically for a certain topic area and in which participants submit proposals on the topic. When the phase is over, the responsible persons and the Ideas Management Committee decide which proposals will be implemented.

Procedure:

  • Launch initiative: You can launch an initiative for a specific topic and ask for proposals from participants. Launched initiatives have the status Start of proposal phase pending. When an initiative is launched, the Ideas Management Committee receives a notification and the initiative is assigned for review. The Ideas Management Committee can then start the proposal phase or reject the initiative. Before the review is completed and the proposal phase has been started or the initiative has been rejected, the creator of the initiative can withdraw and delete it.

  • Withdraw and delete initiative: If an initiative has been started but the Ideas Management Committee has not yet started the proposal phase or has rejected the initiative, the creator of the initiative can withdraw and delete it.

  • Start proposal phase: Launched initiatives are reviewed by the Ideas Management Committee. If the review is successful, the proposal phase is started. The initiative then has the status proposal phase active. Once the proposal phase of an initiative has started, participants can submit proposals to the initiative. Those responsible for the initiative can end the proposal phase prematurely at any time. Once the term of the initiative has expired, the initiative may be ended or the proposal phase may be extended.

  • Reject initiative: Launched initiatives are reviewed by the Ideas Management Committee. If the review is not successful, the initiative is rejected.

  • Submit a proposal: When the proposal phase of an initiative has been started, responsible persons and participants receive a notification and can then submit proposals for the initiative. The proposal phase has a specific duration during which participants can submit proposals. Submitted proposals have the status Proposal in review. When the term is over, the proposals are reviewed by the Ideas Management Committee and either implementation is initiated or rejected.

  • End proposal phase early: If the proposal phase of an initiative is active and the term has not yet expired, persons responsible for the initiative can end the proposal phase early.

  • Complete initiative: As soon as the term of a proposal phase has expired or the proposal phase has been ended early, the initiative gets the status Proposal phase finished. The responsible persons or the Ideas Management Committee can then complete the initiative.

  • Extend the proposal phase: If the proposal phase has expired, persons responsible can extend the proposal phase so that participants have more time to submit proposals for the initiative.
