Proposal

A proposal is an idea for an innovation or improvement in your company, or an error or ambiguity that you have noticed in an area of the company. Proposals submitted are reviewed by the Ideas Management Committee and, if appropriate, submitted for implementation.

Procedure:

  • Submit proposal: You can submit proposals in the Portal for an idea or in case of an error or ambiguity. Submitted proposals have the status Proposal in review. When a proposal is submitted, the Ideas Management Committee receives a notification and the proposal is assigned for review. The Ideas Management Committee can then initiate implementation of the proposal or reject the proposal. Before the review has been completed and implementation has been initiated or the proposal has been rejected, the creator of the proposal can withdraw and delete it.

  • Withdraw and delete proposal: If a proposal has been submitted but the Ideas Management Committee has not yet initiated implementation or has rejected the proposal, the creator of the proposal can withdraw and delete it.

  • Initiate implementation of the proposal: Once a proposal is submitted, the Ideas Management Committee is notified and assigned the proposal for review in their task dashboard. If the review of the proposal is successful, the Ideas Management Committee can then initiate the implementation of the proposal. Proposals that have been initiated for implementation have the status Proposal in implementation. Responsible persons can then derive tasks from the proposal or implement the proposal.

  • Reject proposal: Submitted proposals are reviewed by the Ideas Management Committee. If the review is not successful, the proposal is rejected.

  • Complete proposal implementation: If a submitted proposal has been successfully implemented and no derived tasks remain open, then the proposal implementation can be completed. Proposals whose implementation has been completed have the status Proposal implemented.

  • Derive task: If multiple tasks are required to implement a proposal, the proposal's main responsibility can derive tasks from the proposal. Tasks can then be assigned to specific users for implementation. Once the derived tasks are implemented, the implementation of the proposal can be completed.

  • Implement task: If tasks have been derived for the implementation of a proposal and these tasks have been implemented, the person to whom the task has been assigned can set the task to implemented. Once all derived tasks are implemented, the implementation of the proposal can be completed.
